born December 19th 1964 in Regensburg/Germany, 

 

as Stephanie (Kreszenz) Schweiger, since the 80-ies also called "Stepha",


Early interests in Performances since 1970, Tape Recordings and -Experiments since 1972 will lateron be developped in compositions, as well as in the music-theatre and electronic medium domains.

Compositions since 1980. Activities as Composer in the Experimental Music-Theatre- und Indie-Scene since 1982. 


Studied Composition at the UdK (Universität, formerly Hochschule der Künste) Berlin (Diploma 1999, Meisterschüler-Exam 2002); 

Selected for the one year-course at IRCAM (institut de recherche et coordination acoustique/musique), Paris, 2000 / 01. 


Holds speeches and teaches Composition and Musical Analysis during Workshops, an Instrument Master-Class, Mentorship of Diploma and Symposiums at the University of New Mexico, USA, Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler and Institut für Neue Musik Berlin, IRCAM Paris. 


Band - and Song-Projects. 

Commissions for and Performances of New Music since 1990 in Europe, the USA, Brazil. Releases (MC, Single, LP, CD) since 1986. 


Studied Composition with Walter Zimmermann and Gösta Neuwirth, accompanied by studies with Helmut Lachenmann, Experimental Music with Dieter Schnebel, Piano with Cristian Petrescu. 


Worked with Accroche Note, die Maulwerker, Ensemble ConGioco, Trio Sonar, Künstlergruppe G-Lock, Baby You Know,

Silvia Ocougne, Hilary Jeffery, Matthias Bauer, Anna Clementi, Ulrike Bartsch, Christian Kesten, Klaus Schöpp, Gerhard Scherer, Claudius von Wrochem, Didier Meu, Gisburg, Stephen Altoft, Eva Curth, Eva Zöllner, Fernanda Farah, Claudia Sgarbi and others.


Stations up to now: Bavaria, New York, Paris, the Hague.
